		<description>That would be possible to cope with efficiently Ingo. You can use QRESYNC to quickly reconnect and resynchronize the folder as a response on such an SMS. With the right formatting (for example sending the folder name and the HIGHESTMODSEQ number and some other fields perhaps) could the SMS help a lot with that too.</description>

One thing with regard to timeouts: I would guess that carries will introduce longer timeouts only when it doesn&#039;t cost them, in other words, not for all cases. What could an IMAP-based solution do for that case, short of sending SMSes?</description>
