I’ll write it in C#
public void ActCrazy () {
while (true) {
be incorrect about Mono
}
}

That actually compiles?
@Austin
it does tonight, baby!
hey! that’s java!
I always thought that there were “rand” terms by the fact that C# is passed by ECMA and ISO and that the issue was with the “extra’s” such as winforms. I guess this is just an improvement on rand terms to the point where they are not a concern at all when you keep to the iso spec…
STILL don’t trust them. And why would I want to install a truckload of crap tainted by someone I don’t trust? Aw, forget it. Some verbiage:
“This promise applies to the identified version of
the following specifications. New versions of previously
covered specifications will be separately considered for
addition to the list”
So, we’re happily using version X but are stuck in that trap as soon as they come up with Y and don’t add it to the list. Yeah Right.
Harsh and untrue. He said that it was dangerous because the area was legally unclear. And it was true when he said it.
that work only on windows!
Yay, Microsoft is a good company after all! Who would have thought, huh.
It seems Microsoft is listening. Next time, how about when we have a specific concern about Mono, we take it to them?

Like that. Ask them to take care of that.
Where exactly was Stallman wrong about Mono? That it’s unwise to use unless Microsoft clarifies their position?
I thought you were above such cheap ad-hominem attacks.
Or, maybe you could thank him.
There was clearly an issue about Mono when he said what he said. And now that things has been (partially) straightened out, it’s a win for everybody, not only for the mono-knights.
“Malicious” people could even see a link between Stallman’s post and the instant response by Microsoft.
Bye
Nice flame. Not very creative but at least it’s short and content-free.
If you put an “echo” before it, it can also replace all the people defending Mono without ever giving any good arguments! Oh wait, you may just have replaced yourself…
